Værftshallerne in Helsingør is an iconic area that for more than a hundred years has been closely connected to the city's development. Here, ships were built, generations of craftsmen worked, and Helsingør was shaped as an industrial city.
As Mayor Benedikte Kiær says:

Today, the area is being transformed from a former industrial zone into a vibrant centre for culture, innovation, and collaboration. The project aims to create "Kulturhavnen's creative backyard" – an open and inclusive environment where the city's residents, businesses, and creative forces come together across boundaries.
KSR Cranes as part of the project
In collaboration with Elindco, KSR Cranes provided an experienced tower crane operator for the project. Our task was to carry out safe and precise lifts during the renovation and conversion of the existing steel structures and facade elements in the halls.
The work was carried out in an area with limited space and historic buildings, which placed high demands on planning, safety, and precision. With many years of experience from similar projects, our crane operator ensured that all lifting operations were carried out efficiently and with full control, in close dialogue with the fitters and site management on the ground.
